The Story Behind the 10 Year Anniversary Event!
So many of you have been asking us why we changed the format for Celebrate Your Life. After sharing the story with a CYL fan, she said to me, “This event is truly Divinely Guided”.
She is right.
It came time for us to book our venue for the 2012 November event in the Phoenix Metro area. I immediately went to the resort that had been housing us for many years, much to my dismay there was no space available. I was shocked and even spoke to the regional VP. There was nothing they could do for us, another sales person had sold the space.
I took this as a sign to look for another venue. We looked everywhere and not one hotel had room for us. I immediately went into meditation and asked the Angels for guidance. This was our 10 year anniversary and I had longed to make this event special. For many years, I have used Doreen Virtue’s Mermaid & Dolphin cards. They are a wonderful guide for me and pretty accurate.
I kept pulling the card “Time to Move On”. I was concerned and confused (okay, a bit freaked out too!) so I picked up the phone and what better person to call, but the creator of the cards herself! Doreen is a dear friend and was happy to help. She took a breath and started to give me messages from the Angels. “Liz, the Angels are clearly telling me that it’s time to do something very different. You need to do the event in a power place on the planet and they are telling me Sedona. They are also telling me Enchantment Resort as it sits on a very large vortex of energy. The event needs to be smaller, intimate and much more in depth as it is time to take people to a deeper level”.
Doreen continued and even shared with me what the Angels were telling her about the line-up of presenters and who needed to be there. My head was spinning because I knew what this would mean in terms of it being a smaller event AND I thought there was no way that Enchantment would still have room for us at this late date.
In spite of my limited thinking, I picked up the phone, spoke to a sales person and not only did they have meeting space, but hotel rooms as well. I then called all the presenters and they were available too! I shared all this with the Mishka Team and we all started to brainstorm on creating something extraordinary and special.
Needless to say, this 10 year anniversary event is extremely Divinely Guided and it will be an extraordinary event. We are so honored to have been given this opportunity to create such a magnificent and soulful experience. We hope to see you there!!
